I was wondering last night why so many people are racist. do people not know that without certain communities in our society we would be even more ignorant about the world. Without certain communities in our society our economy would collapse. So dont laugh at me when i say i dont understand what the BNP are talking about when they say migrants bring nothing to this country because if it wasnt for these "migrants", radical extremists like the BNP would not have the freedom to speak out against the multicultrul society we live in. It got me thinking about the Saturday when me, Keeley, Josh, Roz and Sue went to trafalgar square to the LOVE MUSIC HATE RACISM festival to join the campaign to unite against the nazi BNP and show our support to end racism. The day was great as lots of bands were playing, one in particular Boy Kill Boy were wikked and i often see them on MTV, which is great because i can now say i saw them live and for FREE!

I think largely it is due to ignorance and fear, perhaps also jealousy. The international night should be good in a couple of weeks.

funny how until i moved to england i was never really strongly confronted with rascism towards my own self. i mean, i am white. but... and this is a big but... germany is not a loved country here. the comments on that have been interesting to say the least... :)
your right sarah. its a shame about that but many english people seem to hold a grudge against germany. maybe its because of world war two but i think its because they always beat us in football. people need to forget about the past and look to the future, i mean i would hate to know that i was hated by another group of people because of my countries past.
