Last year on July 2nd, me, Keeley, Sarah, Roz , Emma and Gordon we're all on our way to Make Poverty History. Yesterday was the first anniversary of the Make Poverty History march that we all took part in and funnily enough we we're campaigning yesterday, alongside with Craig and Josh this time. There were many comparisons with yesterdays events and last years march upon Edinburgh. It was a heatwave outside, we spent about 5 hours standing around, i forgot my sun cream but funnily enough someone else had some to share with me just like last year. We also chilled out and listened to music, although last year it was live. However hot it was yesterday and last July we still made a stand against needless poverty and none of us have stopped speaking out against it. Will poverty ever be overcome, i dont know. But what i do know is that why there are children dieing across the world because they have no access to basic human rights that we take for granted and there are people living lives of luxury, people like people like us will always be there presuring them to see sense and MAKE POVERTY HISTORY!!!!!!!!
